Before the government’s introduction of guesthouses, visitors to Maldives had the choice of either staying in a Resort or a Liveaboard. The introduction of guesthouses in 2009, allowed accommodations to be set up in inhabited islands. This proved to be a huge success as more and more visitors to Maldives chose guesthouses for their stay. In 2009, we developed a 11 room property in the island of Hulhumale and in 2015 we focused on developments in the island of Thulusdhoo. We have plans to expand in this industry by developing properties in key islands with close proximity to airports.
